It was unfortunate as both Nigerian players Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi started for Leicester City but both were unable to stop them from losing 3 nil to Manchester United.
Musa was taken off at the half way mark while Ndidi played the entire game.
Sone Aluko played for 78 minutes in Fulham’s 1-0 defeat to Birmingham City and was replaced by Gohi Bi Cyriac.

Moses Simon played for 83 minutes as Gent held out for a one all draw with Zulte-Waregem away from home.
Fellow Nigerian William Troost-Ekong was an unused substitute for Gent.
Henry Chukwuemeka Onyekuru and Anthony Bassey were on from start to finish but could do nothing to prevent their team AS Ripen from losing two nil to Waasland-Beveren.
Brown Ideye and Olympiacos continued their fine form in the Greek Super league as they thrashed Iraklis 3 nil to send them 13 points clear on top of the log.
Ideye featured for 90 minutes but failed to get his name on the score sheet.
