Four games were played on Friday as the Brown Ideye Challenge continued in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
In Group C, Academy SKE of Port Harcourt enjoyed a convincing win over Jike Stars of Bille beating them by three un-replied goals.
Eddy Clement put SKE ahead in the 14th min before strikes by Anthony Obia in the 35th and 65th minutes ensured victory for his side over hapless Jike Stars.
In the group's other game of the day, forward Charles Eno's solitary strike was enough to give his side, Fountain FC, the University of Port Harcourt team victory over a much fancied Garden City Panthers.
Speaking after the game, Eno dedicated his match winning goal against Garden City Panthers to his coach’s new baby who was delivered on the day.
"I feel so great scoring the only goal of the game a great game in a tournament of this calibre. I will say nothing more than thanks be to God who has made it possible for us to get this victory.
"It is also congratulations to our coach, whose wife has just given birth. We dedicate the goal and victory to the child."
There was also victory for FC Ghanaman &Friends over Army side Mighty Amphibious in Group B.
A goal by Ogechukwu Ikechukwu in the 71st minute separated both sides after ninety minutes.
Citadel FC playing Soccer Fire FC in a Group A encounter settled for a goalless draw.
