FC Ifeanyi Ubah shot stopper, Edwin Nwakamma has declared that the club will no longer be displaced from the top of the table now they are there.
In a chat with the FC Ifeanyi Ubah media, Edwin made it known that other clubs should now battle for second position.
"We are on top for now and we are working so hard to remain there because our target is to win the league so other clubs should fight for other positions,” Nwakanma said.
Speaking on his return into the team and the game against Rangers International, the goalkeeper gave thanks to God almighty for seeing him through his injury and making them victorious on his return to action against Plateau United.
“It was a tough game against Plateau United but I thank God we got the 3 maximum points.
“As regards Rangers International, last season is gone and this is another season and for us to get a victory over the Flying Antelopes.
“We have to put in over 100% performance because the team has also shown character this season but we will surprise them in front of their fans.”
Edwin Nwakamma has played in five games this season for FC Ifeanyi Ubah who lead the log.
