Oliseh ill, out of Eagles Ouagadougou trip

Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh will not be part of the team to Ouagadougou as he is ill.

Oliseh reportedly left the Port Harcourt camp of the Eagles early on Thursday morning and is said to be on his way to Belgium for medical care.

As a result, assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf will be in charge for the return leg of the Championship For African Nations qualifier against Burkina Faso after Nigeria won the first leg 2-0 in Port Harcourt.

After the double header friendly matches in Belgium against Congo DR and Cameroon last fortnight, Oliseh didn’t turn up at the Port Harcourt camp of the CHAN team until the eve of the game against Burkina Faso.

It was reported then that he was ill and would miss the first leg, but he suddenly turned up and was on the bench in the 2-0 win.

The winner on aggregate between Nigeria and Burkina Faso qualify for the CHAN to be held in Rwanda last year.
