Godbless Asamoah
Ghana born, Godbless Asamoah wants to enjoy the Nigerian League in his time at Dolphins FC.

Asamoah who played for Medeama Stars before his move to the 1997, 2004 and 2011 champions of the Nigerian League told NPFL.ng com that he believes he will excel.

“This is my first time in Nigeria and I’m still trying to catch up with how things are done here,” Asamoah told Naijafootball247.com.

“I’d been in the team for some time but my first game was the substitute appearance in Jalingo against Taraba United which we drew.

“It was a game we wanted to win but unfortunately, we drew, which is not bad,” Asamoah said.

“Sometimes the coach does not use me in the role I want but it doesn’t matter as long as I support my team. I’m here to help my team and that is what I want to do.”

Asamoah told Naijafootball247.com that he did his due diligence on Dolphins before he eventually signed.

“When I was about to come, I checked them out online and I know they are a big side and I want to get glory with them.

“As a player you always want to win trophies and other stuff so I am here to support the team so they can go far and even win the title,” Asamoah said.

Godbless Asamoah got his first Dolphins goal when they drew 1-1 against Sharks at the Liberation Stadium on match day 11.

It was an 87th minute equalizer.

He scored again in Kano against Kano Pillars in a game that ended 2-2.

He also scored in the 3-1 loss to Heartland in Oba.
