Dolphins, Pillars open Super 6

The 2014/15 preseason tournament tagged Super 6 will be opened by 2013/14 League Champions, Kano Pillars and Federation Cup runners up, Dolphins FC.

Both sides will play the opening match of the tournament between Nigeria’s four representatives in the Confederation of African Football, CAF competitions and two national teams

The tournament, previously known as the ceremonial Super 4 between the top 4 sides in the league has been expanded this year to involve the four clubs to play on the continent for Nigeria and two national teams, the U23s preparing for All Africa Games qualifiers and the U20s preparing for the Africa Youth Championships.

It will be played at the Abuja National Stadium between January 24 and February 1 will see Dolphins and Kano Pillars go head to head at 1pm on match day 1.

Enyimba International will take on the Flying Eagles, Nigeria’s U20 side at 3pm while Warri Wolves will lie in wait for the national U23 side at 5 pm.

Match day 2 will be played on Monday, January 26 and Enyimba, who won the Federation Cup last season will start against Warri Wolves.

Kano Pillars will play against the Flying Eagles in the 2nd match of the day while it will be Dolphins versus the U23s as 3rd match of the day

1pm- Flying Eagles v Warri Wolves
3pm- Kano Pillars v U23s
5pm- Dolphins v Enyimba

Match Day 4, Friday, January 30

1pm- Dream Team v Enyimba
3pm- Kano Pillars v Warri Wolves

5pm- Flying Eagles v Dolphins 

Match Day 5, Sunday February 1

1pm- Warri Wolves v Dolphins
3pm- U23s v Flying Eagles
5pm- Kano Pillars v Enyimba
