Federation Cup: Sharks plot Heartland fall

By Jessica Amadi

Sharks will be in Abuja on Friday to take on Heartland in the Federation Cup round of 32.

Sharks will hope to make history as they are yet to win the title despite playing in the final three times.

The Blue Angels were last year eliminated at the quarter final stage of the competition by the Heartland and Ogunbote is certain of what awaits him.

“We will do our best. The Federation Cup is a different ball game entirely, and that is why we’re taking it as is coming,” Ogunbote told naijafootball247.com.

“I know it’s going to be a tough game, both of us are in the premiership and it is not too long ago that they defeated us in last season’s Federation Cup tournament via penalty shootout.

“It still lingers in our memories too,” He added.
