Ideye's coach to help him get to the World Cup

FC Dynamo Kyiv head coach, Oleh Blokhin says he will help his striker, Brown Ideye get to the World Cup in Brazil.

Speaking after the club’s first game since the season restarted, Blokhin said he was very well aware of the “striking problem” he had with Brown Ideye and Mbokani.

“Both players want to be first team regulars but there is no conflict at the moment,” Blokhin told the club’s official website.

“We have 20 performers, so some will have no game practice from time to time. Ideye wants to perform at the World Cup and I understand him.”

Blokhin continued that he will have to change his formation from time to time to suit his playing personnel.

“We’ll use two forwards in some matches. A problem exists, but it’s not critical,” Blokhin said.

In the league game on Sunday against Tavria, Ideye replaced Mbokani in the 85th minute.

Kyiv won the game 2-1.

“First game after long break is always difficult. Besides weather conditions were severe in the first half. The final score could have been difficult if we used our chances. Lack of concentration resulted in the goal we conceded,” Blokin said.
