Ogenyi wants African challenge

Meanwhile chief coach of the team, Evans Ogenyi has revealed that the mixed results the team achieved in her pre-season Tour “has brought to the open the inefficiency of some of the players.”

Ogenyi told naijafootball247.com that a sizeable number of players will be registered for the 2013/2014 season.

“From the matches we’ve played so far, some players will have to give way while others will come. We have discovered some grey areas from matches we’ve played so far and some of the players we thought could be registered are still not here.

“Recently, I had a crucial meeting with the entire technical crew in the presence of the Team Manager in a bid to evaluate our performance and we came up with a couple of recommendations which has already been forwarded to the vice Chairman and Technical Director of the team, Dominic Iorfa.

“The entire Technical crew are more than ever before, poised to work together in order to get a continental ticket for the soccer loving people of the state,” Ogenyi said.
