Keshi happy with Guinness sponsorship

Super Eagles manager, Stephen Keshi says he is happy with Guinness for deciding to do business with the Nigerian National team.

Keshi told that the Guinness partnership with the national team is good for morale as they are one brand that stood with them.

"I remember when I first came and how people saw the Eagles. Few people wanted to be associated with us.

"Then people would rather watch English Premier League clubs than even discuss our national team but I am happy that things have changed for the better," Keshi said.

"Guinness on their part stuck with us before the Cup of Nations which we won and they are staying with us even now we are going to the World Cup.

"I want to congratulate Nigerians for qualifying for the World Cup and also Guinness for believing in us and seeing the result of their belief come to fruition.

"I also want to say that we will not disappoint Nigerians and Guinness at the World Cup next year," Keshi said.

Guinness on Saturday named Emmanuel Emenike as its Brand Ambassador ahead of the FIFA Brazil 2014 World Cup.
