It's honour above all else for Bright Dike

By Blessing Ekpoh

Toronto FC attacker, Bright Dike says he may not know much about African football but it is the honour he gets from wearing Nigeria's jerseys that moves him.

Dike told naijafootball247.com that the most important thing for him is not to know the opponents but that the Super Eagles will win on Saturday.

"I am still new to the team and I cannot say I have a great knowledge of African football," Dike said.

"But one thing I know is that it is an honour for me to play for my country and I will do anything to play continually.

"Right now I see that we are playing together as a team. The great work the coach (Keshi) has done is working and I know we will win on Saturday," Dike told naijafootball247.com.

Dike has only played once for Nigeria, in a 3-1 wib over Venezuela on November 14, 2012.

He was dropped from the AFCON team to the championships in South Africa early this year but has returned as replacement for injured Uche Nwofor ahead of the final FIFA Brazil 2014 World Cup Qualifying game against Ethiopia.
