Ogu harps on unity in Eagles

Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu says it is important that the unity in the national team remains intact.

Ogu who was an unused sub when Nigeria played Malawi last week told naijafootball247.com the players must stay together.

"So far so good for us and we have a lot of quality players in the team.

"As games come we need to keep working together and working hard too. Then we must keep the unity in the team because that is key," Ogu said.

Ogu, is a new comer to Super Eagles having just joined the team this year and making his debut in the FIFA Brazil World Cup Qualifying game against Kenya in Calabar.

Ogu made an eight minute cameo in that game and has now gone on to play eight times for the Super Eagles.

Nigeria's World Cup Qualifying run continues against Ethiopia in a two legged knock out series in October.
