Brown asks for time

Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye has pleaded for time from his fans to adapt to the coaching methods of national team coach, Stephen Keshi.

Ideye, who got his first call up to the national team in the Stephen Keshi era says different coaches have different coaching methods and he needs to get used to what the current coach is doing.

“I’m not used to training like this in the national camp so I know I have to adapt to the system.

“I have told myself that if I want to succeed and play under any coach then I must adapt to his system and now I’m in the Super Eagles camp I must understand what the coach is doing and adapt to it,” Ideye said.

Ideye has been Nigeria’s top striking performer the last two seasons in Europe but he has had just three international games for the country and yet to get on the score sheet.
