We’ll humiliate Guinea, says Umeh

Mike Umeh, 1st Vice-Chairman of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), says the Super Eagles will be out for outright victory against the Syli Stars of Guinea, when they meet in the last group match on Oct. 8 in Abuja.

``Nothing short of victory is what we want against the Guineans,’’ Umeh told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

`It is a must win match. The coach, Samson Siasia knows what to do. We are going to pay them (Guineans) back in their own coin. We expect at least 2-0 from the Super Eagles.’’

Umeh said the Nations Cup being co-hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon in 2012 would definitely not be complete without the Super Eagles in attendance.

``An African Nations Cup without Nigeria is just like soup without salt. The Guineans cannot stop us.’’

The former Green Eagles Team Manager said many Nigerians were already looking forward to a victory over the Guineans that defeated Eagles 0-1 at home during the first leg.

``We did it Madagascar recently, there is no reason we cannot win this one. If we can win at away in Madagascar, why not here at home in Abuja.’’ The Stars had been leading group `B’ with 13 points and closely followed by the Eagles with 10 points.
