Falcons back after rest


Nigeria’s women national team, the Super Falcons returned to training on Friday evening after skipping the morning session.

The girls had played two friendly matches against the national U-15 Boys team and the coaches thought they deserved the rest.

Captain of the team Precious Dede was not part of the two training matches because she was down with malaria.

Dede is fully recovered and has now joined her team mates in training.

Meanwhile, Media Officer of the team Gracious Akujobi can confirm that one of the foreign based players Emueje Oghiagbehve who plays for FC Energy of Moscow arrived t the camp on Thursday night and was part of Thursday evening’s training.

The team is in camp preparing for a crucial Olympic Games qualifying match against Cameroon.
