Siasia unfazed about Ghana

Nigeria will play Ghana in Thursday's WAFU Cup semifinals after the Black Stars were beaten to group leadership by Togo on Tuesday, but Nigeria coach Samson Siasia remains unfazed about the prospect of the confrontation.

Both countries share an intense rivalry dating back decades, and the Black Stars have been seen as the biggest threats to the Super Eagles' title-winning ambitions.

But Siasia is refusing to focus on the opposition

"Our objective is to get to the final. It doesn't matter if we are playing Ghana or Togo," the Nigeria coach said.

"We are playing a match that we want to win, and who we play against is not the issue.

"What is important is if we play the way we want to play and do the right things on the field."

Togo meet Liberia in the first semi-final on Thursday at 2pm, while Nigeria and Ghana go head to head at 4pm.
