Eguavoen names team for Liberia

Head coach of the Nigeria’s U-23 football team, Austin Eguavoen has picked his twenty man team for the All Africa games qualifying match against Liberia this weekend in Monrovia.

Dele Ajiboye, Ibok Edet, Daniel Uchechi and Rabiu Ibrahim (pictured left)are among those who made the team out of the 24 who were camped in Lagos.

After making his team public, Eguavoen told the players not to hold grudges against anyone as they are still part of the Olympic Team.

“As you all know not all of us can make it to Monrovia. For those of you that would not make the trip to Liberia, you remain an integral part of this team. We are still building and every one of you that have started this campaign will remain a part of the Family.

“All we ask of you is remain with the team in spirit and put us in your prayers as we head to Monrovia,” Eguavoen appealed.
