Kwara dominate League Team of The Week

Kwara United coach Kadiri Ikhana will have more reason to smile in addition to the solid road win he masterminded in Jos over the weekend.
Ikhana's charges came away 2-0 winners, in the most convincing away win of the season so far. And while three points were the inevitable reward, an additional bonus has come in the form of getting himself named to the NPL's prestigious Team of the Week, where he is joined by two of his players.
One of this is rookie defender Gbenga Arokoyo, who is playing his first season in the top flight. Not only did he shut down the dangerous James Amankwei, he also ventured forward to open the scoring for the Afonja Warriors.
He is joined by midfielder, Anthony Okemiri, the third of the Okemiri brothers.
Dolphins and Warri Wolves were involved in a top of the table dispute at the Liberation Stadium on Saturday, and that match up provides four players in this week's selection.
Goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim proved a constant source of frustration for Dolphins with his ability, until he was beaten by an excellent headed goal from a free kick, but chiefly because his defense sold him short.
Dolphins captain Emah Godwin returns to the team for his part in shutting down Wolves, along with full back Kennedy Chinwo. The former junior international appears to have settled into his role as a left back despite being right footed, and playing right back all of his career to date.
Completing the quartet from that game is Wolves midfielder Sunday Mba, a wily customer who created half a dozen different kinds of trouble for Dolphins while he lasted.
Austin Kadiri of Zamfara United completes the midfield quartet.
Upfront sees a new entrant. Ocean Boys may be in mourning, but Charles Omokaro provides some consolation, as his late brace not only ensured victory but also a place in the league selection.
He is joined by the the so far prolific Akombo Ukeyima, whose goal in the 3-1 defeat of Gombe United, not only catapulted Sunshine Stars to the top of the log, but also underlined his own consistency.
With four goals so far, he is the league's top scorer.
His team mate Ofem Inah also worked his way into the team for the first time, edging Dolphins' Uche Oguchi to the right back spot.
Ikhana will coach the team in a 4-4-2 formation.
