Super Eagles assistant coach, Ben Iroha says he is no longer interested in coaching Nigerian League clubs.

Iroha’s last job in the league was at Owerri based Heartland before he was sacked alongside head coach, Kelechi Emetoele.

Iroha told naijafootball247 that he now will focus on the national team where he is currently assistant coach to Austin Eguavoen and probably the U23 job if it is given to him.

“I have done my bit in the league with Dolphins and Heartland and I believe it is time to move on,” Iroha said.

“It was a good experience for me and I thank my former employers for giving me the opportunity to work but I must move on now.

“Right now I am enjoying me temporary run with the national team and I believe if given a chance to continue or coach the U23s I will also be able to prove my worth in coaching,” He said.

Iroha, as a player was on the books of Enyimba, Flash Flamingoes and Iwuanyanwu Nationale before he moved on to Europe.

He also played for the national team between 1989 to 1998 winning the Africa Cup of Nations gold, silver and bronze as well as play in the World Cup in 1994.
